SubTerra @ Lost Cavern

SubTerra is an underground haven for relaxation, sunk into the earth at eye level to nature's view. Featuring rock sculpture, in-house planters and a fern-covered roof, SubTerra emanates the beauty of Hocking Hills. For this build, we drew inspiration of hiking into the Old Man’s Cave as a child. Children create their own abode out of the nooks and crevices of the rock. We set out to do just that, by bringing the wonderment of the rock into our cabin. We studied the Black Hand Sandstone of the Hocking Hills and carved it into large swaths of our cabin.

This therapeutic retreat features an infrared sauna,* massage chair, cold plunge,* and a hot tub.*  Physically, nothing is more reinvigorating than deep, healthy heat/cold exposure. Tension fades. Muscles unwind. And you emerge relaxed, revived, and ready for whatever the day may bring. In between hiking the nearby breathtaking trails, enjoy restoration at SubTerra.
